Certificate of Authenticity

Every edition from Maison Leonardo is issued with its own signed certificate of authenticity. It is not an accessory — it is the document that makes your piece an edition, not a print.

What the Certificate Confirms

Each certificate records the essential identity of your piece: the title of the work and its original artist, the edition number of your piece within its limited run, the format and dimensions, the date of production, and the signature of the house.

Together, these details confirm two things: that your piece was produced by Maison Leonardo to museum standard, and that it occupies a numbered place within a limited edition — one of a finite run, never to be extended.

Why It Matters

The public domain is open to everyone. What is not open to everyone is a considered selection, produced to archival standard, in a numbered and documented edition. The certificate is what separates a Maison Leonardo edition from an image printed anywhere else — it is the record of curation, quality, and scarcity in a single document.

For interior designers, the certificate also serves a practical purpose: it accompanies the piece as documentation for your client, confirming the provenance and edition status of the work installed in their project.

How It Arrives

The certificate accompanies every piece, issued at the time of production. Keep it with the work — as with any edition, the certificate and the piece belong together.
